Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Blaze Apply ("Service", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Blaze Apply is an internship job aggregation and matching platform that:

• Aggregates internship job listings from third-party sources (LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, YC, HackerNews)
• Scores job listings against your uploaded resume using automated algorithms
• Sends optional push notifications for new matching jobs
• Tracks your job application status

We do not guarantee employment, interviews, or responses from employers. We are a discovery tool only.

3. User Accounts

• You must choose a username and create a secure password
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
• You may not create more than one account per person
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms

4. Resume & Data Upload

• You may upload up to 5 PDF resumes to the Service
• By uploading a resume, you grant us a limited license to process and analyze its contents solely to provide the matching Service
• We do not share your resume with employers or third parties
• Resume text is stored securely and used only for job scoring
• You can delete your resumes or your entire account at any time

5. Job Listings

Job listings on Blaze Apply are aggregated from third-party sources. We do not own, control, or verify the accuracy of job listings. Always verify job details directly with the employer before applying. We are not responsible for:

• Inaccurate, outdated, or fraudulent job postings
• Hiring decisions made by employers
• Loss of opportunity arising from use of our Service

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service
• Use automated bots or scripts to access the Service
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise our systems
• Share your account credentials with others

7. Intellectual Property

The Blaze Apply platform, including its design, scoring algorithms, and software, is owned by Blaze Apply and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of your resume and application data.

8. Push Notifications

Push notifications are optional and require your explicit browser permission. You can disable notifications at any time from the sidebar toggle in your dashboard. We will not send marketing messages unrelated to job matches.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLAZE APPLY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile & Resumes page. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms without notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Santa Clara County, California.
